*sips his coffee* Late for coffee I know...tastes good tho, vanilla chocolate
mint. Y'all ought to try it if you can find it somewhere. *S*
I'm sitting here on my couch..under a blanket cuz it's kinda chilly here for
once, burning an angel candle one of my friends out there sent me *thanx,
kotc...meant a lot for you to see where my heart lies* So, the mood is one
of hope...and some confusion. I started coming into chathouse about 4 1/2
years ago...dont know why really , guess there is no answer other than curiosity
*S* and landed in one of the rooms, actually picked the lily pad cuz I thought
it was kinda cute since I like to fish *L*
Anyways...I didnt even know how to work the darn thing nevermind chat...took
me only a little while to get the hang it if and learn all the chat language
and etiquette...*L* I met a lot of people in that room. Some were good friends,
we'd meet almost every day and just shoot the sh*t, you know, how are ya,
what did you do today, etc etc...and after a while of being there, I noticed
things kinda..."evolved". Meaning, the more I got to know folks, the more
we became attached...beyond the hello's and how are you's, we talked about
things in life, problems, etc....and got to know only a handful as more than
just chatters, but real people like you and I.
*S* Well....most of those folks I knew in that room are gone for whatever
reason, there are 2-3 I still have contact with and reckon I will for as long
as I live...*S* So...I moved to Joes Diner. *BAS* it was here, where I met
my family and loved one(s). When i first came in...I met a chatter named Ferret.
She was young (17 at the time) but she gave me the first hello there. *S*
We became friends, talked about a lot of things related to growing up...she
once told me I was a great inspiration for her, she was a good kid and I had
no problem being there as a friend in chat for her. *S*
Well...it's been almost (counting) wow 3 years since I saw her, I imagine
now she is married, maybe has a family, maybe still in college I dont know.
But, I know from time to time she remembers things we talked about, and she
smiles. That, makes me feel good. *S*
THEN...I met a ray of light from Texas. We kinda hit it off right from the
start...she's an awesome friend to MANY of us in Joes, and always wll be no
matter what. *BAS* Hugs n softpetalofyoukisses* THEN, I met a maiden, and
an artist from Conn,.....again, awesome friends to many in chat, and always
will be. *hugs n kisses x 2* ...I met A LOT of you folks within the first
4-5 months I was there. And I have to be honest even tho some of you are gone
now, you're all still my friends and family.

"I've chatted in alot of the rooms at Chathouse, but there is something
that keeps drawing me back to the LADIES ROOM on the First Floor. I'm not
sure what it is and
frankly I don't think anyone really knows what the allure of the place is.
I've met some amazing men and women in the Ladies Room who have touched my
heart in so many ways. The Ladies Room always seems to be the hub of activity
on the First Floor at Chathouse and there is always some kind of action going
on in no matter what timezone you live in .. so give the LADIES ROOM a try
-- and don't forget to "flush and wash your hands"!!! Favorite Floors
hmmmm, describing the downstairs...well, it seems to me it's more like "downtown"
you have the bar (last call) the beauty salon the phone booth etc... but then
the chamber throws everything off.... I'd say it's a pretty good place to
start chatting for newly registered users.

If they avoid the chamber the others on the floor are rather 'normal' and
usually give new people half a chance without the verbal bashing like some
of the other rooms on other floors.

I love chatting in the East Wing, and I do it all the time as various handles.
You know, the role-playing wing in the Chathouse. But, I noticed something.
It is really hard to know all that is going on (with clans, families, kingdoms,
etc) unless you get it from word-of-mouth and lots of times many people don't
know about it either. Also, if you leave for even a certain amount of time,
so many things have changed for your character that it is frustrating. So,
I had an idea, why not have a home page dedicated to just the East Wing
.JW
We included our Chathouse friends in our wedding and some traveled to Canada
to be with us on our day. All our friends now, are those we met together on
line. I will always be grateful to Chathouse for ....

I have been chatting in the chathouse for around 5 years.... When I first
got online, I came to the the chathouse.. As times changed, I moved onto other
chat servers. Cyberbabble, freetel, etc.. Funny thing is, I missed the chathouse.
I don't know if its cuz i learned how to chat her or what.. But i still use
the chathouse.. I normally am in the next level in the windy city or the tank.
Sometimes I get tired of the trashy kids and the fights, but I have met some
really wonderful ppl.. I have always enjoyed watching the improvement and
changes you have made over these years..

Another Romance?
We chatted as often as our schedules allowed. I found out that David was
from Arkansas, and that he was a couple years younger than me. We exchanged
phone numbers, addresses, poems, and finally pictures. We grew to love each
other long before the pictures were exchanged though. (I can't say I was
disappointed afterwards however.) :-) That seems like so long ago. Well,
finally this summer I took my first plane trip to Arkansas for 10 glorious
days.
It was love at first sight. I don't think anything could have been more
perfect. After all these years of chatting online, we met and couldn't be
happier. He's moving to NY soon, until I finish school next year. I don't
know where we'll go afterwards, but as long as we're together nothing else
matters. I felt I needed to email you my thanks, because if it wasn't for the
Chathouse we probably never would have met. Sincere thanks from David and I.

Future Chatters?
Just alittle good news for you to put on your page of things going on at chathouse.
Roz and I are going to have a baby. We are expecting it to be born in late
july or early august. Once again thanks for providing us such a great place
to meet. You
guys are the best. William & Rosaline Terrill AKA Nightwing & Duchess Achtung

No Regrets
So what do I say?
That it's my sister's Fault *SHARRIE* that I ever went to Joes?
I often ask myself where I would be now if I had never walked into Joes Diner?
I have learned not to ask myself that. I have a few regrets, but the laughter,
the smiles and the love far out weigh most of those.
I married a man that I met in joes, on September 19th. We bought a house and
for the most part we are living happily ever after, although most of our arguments
come from him going to Joes to flirt like he always did *L*.

Hello Friend finder,
Two years ago, I met my husband at friend finder. His name was
bigheart32 and mine was sails2. We e-mailed a few times and them met in
Ottawa at Chapters for the first time. Both of us are still shocked that
we found our lifetime mate on the net. Friends are still in awe and the
fact that there are so many horror stories about people meeting on the
net, we were extremely lucky.
Thank you for providing this service. We wouldn't have met with out this
service. We are happily married and have been together since May 1998.
Many thanks and we wish you a Happy New Year.
Lisa

Last Friday, I was lucky enough to find the display driver (SVGA-256
color) here, at your site.
I had been searching for a long time (months) to no avail - and was
limited to using only 16 colors on an SVGA monitor, for lack of a Video
Driver that would work within my Windows3.1 platform... The difference
in my viewing now is dramatic - and a very welcome improvement. :)
Much appreciated,
A. D. Kelly,
