I See You Soaring! You are as unique as each flower in a lovely garden As each dawn is born and gratefully becomes the daytime, With every brilliant sunset appearing upon the horizon, I see the beauty now, living deep inside you, Believe in the reality of all hope, love and grace here, It is time to believe in the miracles of authentic living Look and see! There are your wings, folded in expectation. Now is your time to fly! -Poem by MaryEdith Blevins-Mills
-The Bond Girls Latest Mission- The Mission Last night while chatting in Joe's Diner on the Next Level two chatters..we shall call them the Bond Girls went on a mission. The mission was:
So with a flip of the hair & striking a Bond Girl Pose, we were off on our mission, running thruout the Chathouse tagging people and leaving this message:
The rules: Tag someone you don't know in a room that you don't chat in. Then meet at a designated room. Pretty simple wouldn't you think? So the next time someone tags you, why not just take the five minutes to go into a new room with new chatters and have fun with it. There's hundreds of great people out there chatting away, and you could let an opportunity slip through your fingers. In conclusion, Bond Girl me(f) and Bond Girl Ocey's mission wasn't a complete failure (not quite up to Bond Girl status though) because we did accomplish meeting two new friendly chatters *S*. Bond Girl Ocey™~..over and out

MichiganStorm™ Listen Free Online- While going through my email and trying to clean out the rubbage that has collected over the past few weeks since I last cleaned it out, I came across an email from a chatter that had somehow become buried beneath the junk mail. This chatter has been coming to the Chathouse since 1997 according to this email and asked us to check out a website. Well, this computer isn't exactly in it's prime when it comes to listening to radio stations live over the net or watching film clips either, so I didn't get to do much on the site but perhaps you might be able to. The site is described as having "FREE CD quality music from around the world!" Maybe, if you've a few minutes, you'd like to check it out? I tried, but didn't get very far I'm afraid. Support a fellow chatters website and visit www.shakewell.net! Email- The above kind of helped lead up to this... I needed an email account for any and all of the Chathouse chatters to be able to email things in to the Ezine, so I chose a free one from Hotmail and posted the addy in the Ezine and some of the forums. Of course I'd post it out for all to see, if I didn't how would anyone know where to email? However, I didn't expect some of the things to happen via this email account that have happened and am slightly dissapointed in those who have chose to do what I'm about to explain. Perhaps some thought it a humorous joke? Well, you're the only one laughing! I expected minor problems with having an email address spread all over the place like that, but I'm not in the least smiling about some of what I've found in my Hotmail Email Inbox! I'm recieving all kinds of spam, I realize everyone has their problems with that, but that's not all. I went in my Ezine mail for the first time in about three days and there were 81 new messages!! EIGHTY-ONE!! The ones that I recognized right off were saved of course and a few of the questionable ones saved just in case they were from chatters, but most were deleted. As I sorted through my email I became more and more agrivated because most of the junk mailings were asking for confirmation on my email address and stating that I'd signed up for yet another newsletter I'd never heard of. I'd think who ever has been doing this, using this email addy to sign up for everything under the sun would be bored of it by now! Apparently not, simple minds are easily amused you know? Regardless, I can deal with that without having some sort of break down but one thing I do not believe in is Porn and guess what most of these junk mailings were? That's right, porn! Some even included pictures and several were asking for me to confirm my membership and stating that I'd signed up for whatever it was they were offering. All I want to really say is this: Grow up, PLEASE! Gossip & the Chathouse- First of all, I'd like to say that for the most part I'm a firm believer of if it's not your business don't make it your business to make it your business. For instance I work in a factory and if you've ever worked in one or in a similar enviornment you know that gossip runs rampant there. Well, the other day a women I work with asked me a question about another women we both work with and my reply, as is almost always my reply when it comes to things like this was "I don't know, it's none of MY business!". I say it like that to TRY and make a point. When I do stick my nose where it may or may not belong I usually do so to either make a point or because the issue, event or person being discussed somehow effects me. I'm sure some of you reading this who know me are thinking, 'Michie sticks her nose in other peoples business all the time in the forum or diner'. Well, maybe I do, but compared to who? Compared to you? Compared to the person(s) who have tried to post home addresses of dear friends of mine in the public chatrooms, or their phone numbers or how about compared to those who have went so far as to do a person search on the net and called one of my "sisters" in their own home? I think not. Not only should people know when enough is enough, but they should stop once they've reached that point. I was informed by a friend of mine who was in Joe's Diner one night not so long ago that two girls were talking about my (IRL) Cousin, who also chats there, telling people she was married. There were also other chatters talking about her mother, who also chats time to time. I'm guilty of saying things about other chatters in their absence as well, but I can't remember ever being as rash as some of the things I've heard others say. All I ask is that we all try to get along and by doing so we may have to follow a few minute guidelines- But is it really so hard to think before you type? The Question-The cousin I mentioned is, in fact, not married, as if it's anyone's business but her own! And if she were, should or would this change the fact that she enjoys chatting? Should or would it change the fact that other's enjoy chatting with her? Would or should it change the way people react to her in a room? What do you think??
