A Wonderful Short Story
Submitted by gill
He was fast asleep.

It was shady and protected under the yellow wood tree, and I smiled as his dark lashes fluttered on rosy cheeks. His mouth worked on the ‘NUK#2’ pacifier…what baby can survive without one of those… or a thumb? I lay back on the quilted garden-mat and closed my eyes.

After a hectic morning of chase..catch..throw.. climb.. interwoven with lavish helpings of a cake-gone-wrong which had become a trifle thing made of bright yellow custard, fresh fruit and sponge cake rescued bits – we were both tuckered out.

I had taken him with his newest book "When Granny came to stay" and settled us both down under the shady tree - him in a diaper and me in paint stained denim cut –off shorts and a dodgy looking T shirt.. (dodgy meaning.. an ex Jonny one with a RUDE picture which was now sensibly faded on the front.)

Leaning against the tree I had read in a low "get very sleepy very soon" voice..

"Granny came to stay
she has white hair in a bun!
Granny’s round as round can be
And Granny’s so much fun"

He had looked at the Granny picture and been satisfied that she was not scary!

"Granny smells of cinnamon
of lavender and roses too!
Granny bakes me cookies
Do I love them?
Oh yes I do!"

He had smiled a lot at that part. (He loves cookies)

He stirred in his sleep as the warm breeze blew on silky dark baby hair, and instinctively one dimpled hand reached out and closed on my T shirt.

I stroked his shoulder gently, not wishing to waken him, and lay back thinking of the book again…

"Granny can take her teeth out
they’re plastic ones she said
She looks so funny without them
When granny goes to bed"

I giggled.

I glanced at the face of the baby princeling, and wondered whether he was confused.

I certainly did not resemble the granny in this book.. not one bit… did he understand that story book grannies and the one he has in me are different yet alike?

When I grow up… I want to be just like the story book one…

But…
Can I have my teeth.. and can lavender be replaced by a very expensive Chanel perfume?

Preparing for Valentines Day
Valentines Day is a few weeks away yet, but I'd like to be prepared this year. This little note will be in the Ezine each issue until the holiday to remind you to send in your message! Simply send an email to ch_zine@hotmail.com with VD or something similar in the subject line and I'll stuff it in a folder until we are ready to put the Valentines Issue together. What should your email include? Your handle, the handle of that special person in your life (or a nick name if s/he does not chat), a brief message to them or about them to be included in the issue. It does not have to be a lover or spouse, it could be a very good friend or mother, father, brother, sister, etc.. Different types of messages might be something as simple as I love you or as intimate as telling all of Chathouse what you love about them! Perhaps you could spring your feelings on someone by asking them to be your valentine? Messages will be cut and pasted direct from incoming emails so please check your spelling and say exactly what you want to be posted. Thanky!! -Michie

My Two Cents
Mailbag

This week I thought I would address some of the email that I have received regarding recent articles I have written. I don't do this very often, but on occasion I like to acknowledge that I do read the emails that I receive, whether I reply to them or not. I also like to remind my readers periodically that I do like to hear their input on my articles. Although my opinions are usually rock solid, I am not above entertaining the opinions of others for consideration. On that note, here is a sample of some of my recent emails.

Your use of the word white in the "black pledge" was very illustrating *hoping I've used the right word*. It changed everything. That pledge IS racist whether it is said using the word white or black. I'm a true believer that though everyone is created equal in the eyes of which ever god a person might choose to worship, the person they become later in life is dependant on them and their determination, not the color of their skin. Point being, I'm not racist. The pledge, using the word white, looks like it would be something the KKK would chant at one of their "peaceful" gatherings. And a black, a jew, an oriental, a mexican, a man from mars would view that pledge as racist and reason to hate or feel hated. Well, I'm German and Danish regardless of the color of my skin and I felt that it would not matter which color was inserted into that pledge, it was RACIST and find it horrific that such an openly racist thing would be or COULD BE posted on a public school website or recited in their school.

I thoroughly enjoy reading your column in the Ezine and nod my head in total agreement at your statements on the pledge of colour.

I know its not related as such but it made me think back to earlier today.... I was building up a sweat on my treadmill (Im sure I have made your day sharing that with you....*LOL*) ..and that Michael Jackson song came on the stereo... "Black or White" (or whatever its called)... anyway, one particular line was "we can still be brothers it don't matter if you're black or white"... well I tell ya, I found that so damned ridiculous I just about lost my footing and went ass over through my laughter... I ask you this, or more to the point I would LOVE to ask HIM... if it "dont matter if you're black or white" why the hell did he spend most of his life tryin to be white and turning is back on...and condeming the black colour in such an overtly public way????

Hmm... irony at its best!

It's clearly racist, seeking to separate blacks from the rest of the world. If blacks are looking for the perpetrators of their oppression, they can start here.

First, let me say thank you to all those who wrote to me. Not only because there was unanimous agreement with my position, but because they felt strongly enough about it to speak up. My personal opinion is that the rift between races in this country has been the result of guilty conscience and lack of knowledge. "White folks" felt/feel sorry for the "black folk" because of things that happened 200 years ago. Now, I realize that racism and hardship have plagued minorities for years since slavery and even today, however our country had begun to heal those things. In the 1950's life for black Americans was better socially and economically than it is today. Black leaders like Martin Luther King raised awareness of prejudice without inciting conflict between the races. Since then, we have gone backwards rather than improving. Divisive black leaders such as Malcolm X and Rev. Jesse Jackson have polarized races against each other with an "Us or Them" attitude. The 'Black Pledge' that I wrote about is a prime example of that. Feeble attempts by the government to appease them have led to further polarization due to special treatment, racial quotas and set asides.

Bottom line: Blacks in America, whether they are descendants of slaves or immigrants, are better off than if they had stayed in their 'homeland'. This next email is an example of why I say that.

Anti retroviral drugs are being inhibited by the Minister of Health in S Africa. These drugs if given to pregnant HIV pos mothers will prevent the babies getting AIDS. It is percieved that the drug is being suppressed because the govt. does not want a nation of orphans.

Can the Minister play 'G*d" and do this?
Yes - if they die.. the problem is solved (the babies I mean) but how can this be morally correct?

Morally correct? Of course Not! What makes matters worse is that S. Africa is under black leadership, the days of Apartheid are gone. This is how they treat their own. Now, I will admit that "the white man" has perpetrated many atrocities upon "the black man", but not so heinous as "the black man" has perpetrated on his own brothers and sisters. Want proof? Do a little research on what countries still practice slavery today! Tally up how many 'white' Anglo European countries do vs. how many African, Arab, Muslim or Asian nations do. Then you tell me who the perpetrators of oppression are.

Now for an abrupt subject change and one last email:

How can you compare guns with tobacco and fat foods?
I never saw a pizza with a scope on it, or a cigarette with a hollow point in it.

First I feel that I must correct you...
I never made any such comparison, other than to point out that they all resulted in frivolous lawsuits. However, all do share a common characteristic, that being their deadly potential, whether it be instant or the result of years of use. Obviously a gun will harm or kill someone much faster than a cigarette or a cheeseburger, but the harmful consequences of them all are readily apparent.

Now, before I start sounding too much the liberal lawsuit-happy leftists, let me reiterate the one basic truth of my article. That is the issue of personal responsibility. If a person lays off the pizza and cheeseburgers, or at least moderates their intake responsibly, then it is a non-issue. If a responsible person never starts smoking, or at least stops once they understand the health risks, then again it is a non-issue. Finally, yes even a gun is a non-issue if people exercise a little personal responsibility in the ownership, handling and use of a gun. Proper training, responsible handling and the application of personal responsibility for the weapon makes it as safe as a kitchen knife, baseball bat or any other object that could be used as a weapon. Or should we be suing Louisville Slugger and Ginsu for "health problems" resulting from their products?

As I always say, common-sense isn't nearly as "common" as it is made out to be.

That's My Two Cents, Deal With It!

So, what have you got to say?

Let me know and I'll tell you if it's worth 2 cents!

Mail Bag
The Ezine received a lovely email this week and really wanted to share *VBS*!!

Hello
I write in reference to the bonza job you did on the Aussie theme for this month's Ezine....*applauding*...Great timing seeing as how Australia Day is next weekend.

I did have to have a chuckle though when I read the Aussie recipes. I have to say that I have lived here in Australia for all my 33 years and not once have I ever seen crocodile meat for sale let alone found it readily available...*L* Im not sure where that info came from... but I shall be sure to look out for it. Real aussie recipes would have to be the good old Anzac biscuits and the burnt BBQ snaggers...*L*

Mind you considering the reverse... if I was to do a feature on YOUR neck of the woods I would no doubt balls it up completely... so I have to congratulate you as you have taught this lil ol aussie a thing or two about my own backyard.... Good On Ya Cobber!!!!!

Kind Regards...
MagicLea

This email brought on a great smile to our faces here at the Ezine and we would in turn like to think MagicLea for writing in and for reading the Ezine! We're happy that you enjoyed the issue *VBS*.

Also, in regards to follow up email that took place we'd like to say that we hope all of you over on the big Isle had a wonderful Australia Day!!! And *L* I'm sorry there was no Croc meat to be found *L*!

The Question: Submitted by: ~Out of Africa~
Some people use chat to supplement a full life.. like relaxing after a hard day.. some use it to live out a fantasy... others use it to find a masturbating partner (Sorry but that is so) and some come to find "That perfect One".
What do you use the chat scene for?

~I came to the chathouse against my will *ggl* I know that sounds strange but my daughter thought I needed to do something besides sit in front of the TV. She signed me up gave me handle and pushed me to the computer. It was the best thing she could have done. I have met wonderful friends that have really shown me support over the past 3 years. I was also lucky enough to find that one sweet man that has kept me coming back day after day. The chathouse started as a void filler...ended up being my lifeline to wonderful people I would have not otherwise had the good fortune to meet! tazzy from the WWW

~well when i first came to chathouse, i was just looking to see what the hoopla about chatting was....became an addict right away. i would have to say i use my chat experience for all of them...to meet people and have made some great r/t friendships out of it, have had a few great "play" partners from here, and have wonderful memories from that....i have meet the person i am currently involved with from here..and that is great. i think that most people use this forum for a list of reasons not just to find that perfect someone...to fill gaps of time, to fill gaps in a their lives, and to fill gaps of missing love. milkmaid

~Honestly, I had never been online prior to November of 1998, that's when my cousin first got the net and icq and we were both laid off at the time so we played for days on end. It was a new world to us *L*. Then the following March I got the net at home and still hadn't given much thought to chat rooms, until another of my cousins introduced me to chathouse. I swore it'd be something I did on rare occasions and I never used the same handle twice - until about two weeks later when I was already becoming quickly addicted *L*. Then I was Sassy and spent at least an hour a day in the diner, had to fit in around work you know? *L* At first it was just something to do to kill time and relax, but as I made friends and became closer and closer to these friends I realized that it wasn't just killing time anymore - it had become kinda like "visiting". I couldn't jump in my car and drive down the road to see these people, but I could come in the spare bedroom and jump online and "see" them. From there came phone calls, then a Thanksgiving gatheringin NC, then tons of trips to Canada, then last winter I spent driving all over half the USA to see my friends. So, what do I use it for? To catch up with and feel close to those friends that are so far away from me, that I miss so much and love as if I'd known them forever. OoOo and the laughs don't hurt either *S*. MichiganStorm™ (aka MS™, aka Agent MIchie™) from the Diner

~I use chat to relieve boredom here at work stillBill

~I use to use the chat scene to help Me find a r/t BF... then I found Him -smiles brightly- in the attic actually ... now I use chat to help me to find myself and figure things out about myself that I didn't know existed or that ever possibly could exists.... it also helps me to clear my mind .. of r/t stress and such.. SweetS aka Jenn23

~Hmm of late when i've had time used it to keep in touch with old F/friends.. and also drop my 2 cents in here and there.. and sometimes make new friends.. and also to slip out into the world.. i mean outside of a NYC club where would you find a group of such diversity to talk with? people from all over the planet.. meeting to talk.. Hmmm idea catches on and W/who knows what could happen. MNL's collared grasshopper

~I use it to see how many people are going to ask me useless questions...(ooo thats #1) P.O.D Resurrect

~Chat Dom, well i can brush up on my typing skills and meet new people at the same time...*W* and also...spot the assholes of life.... Silky

~I don't know that I have a "purpose" for my chat habit. I just do it. It started out as simple curiosity and has since just become a part of my life. I chat for the same reason that I eat, sleep, breath and socialize, it is just part of my life, plain and simple. No agendas, no ulterior motives, no smoke and mirrors, just chat. It is a form of communication, much like the telephone, but the phone has been around long enough that people don't ask "Why do you use the phone?", they just do, it's part of their life.
Welcome to the 21st Century! My2CentsDealW/it!

~I come into the chat room cause SALLY teases me and gets me alllllll worked up. I come into the chat room to chat, act silly, and to blow off some steam. Mountain Mist (M)

my mom said I was not allowed.
honest answer... I come here to relax.. and to widen my knowledge.. meet great people *Hugs* ~Out of Africa~

Self-Improvement is masturbation. I need to keep
on trying to improve myself *L* GRouND ZeRo

Horoscopes

WEEKLY HOROSCOPES

For week beginning February 4, 2002

IF BORN THIS WEEK
You're a treasured companion, and desire a mate who is equally creative and intelligent to see (and conquer!) the world with. You do have a jealous side, however, and can be a treacherous rival when you feel threatened. When you rush into battle impulsively or let ego direct your actions, you can be your own worst enemy. Choose friends wisely if you want to stay out of too many dramas in your social life. You're dynamic and farsighted; you understand abstract concepts and can easily see the 'story behind the story'. Successful vocations: journalism and publishing, law, communications, marriage counseling, entertainment event planner.

Aries.... March 21 - April 19
Ruling Planet:
Mars. MASCULINE, FIRE
Key Words:
Assertive, Urgent.
Positive Traits:
Pioneering and adventurous spirit. Enterprising, Direct, Highly energetic, Loving freedom.
Negative Traits:
Selfish, Unsubtle, Always put themselves first, Impulsive, Impatient, Quick tempered.

Establish new ground rules, boundaries, and improved communications late this week after Saturn and Mercury finally move direct. Matters that have dangled over your head are more likely to resolve themselves. The uncertainty and maddening X Factors so prevalent during the past weeks and months should start to ease up over the weekend. This is a process, Oh Impatient Little Ram, so don't expect instant results -- but do anticipate gradual improvement
Lucky Numbers: 8-12-38-10-29-32

Taurus.... April 20 - May 20
Ruling Planet:

Venus. FEMININE, EARTH
Key Words:  Possessive, Permanent.
Positive Traits:  Practical, Reliable, Good business sense, Love of luxury and good foods, Persistent, Affectionate, Trustworthy.
Negative Traits:  Possessive, Lazy, Stubborn, Lacks flexibility, Obsessed with routine.

A pending financial or contractual issue stands a much better chance of being understood and pushed forward over the weekend. Do what you can to expedite things, open up discussions, and bring various factions together. If a contract or agreement has flaws or seems patently unfair, speak to a professional either late this week or next and see what can be done. No matter how difficult things have been, your options might be better than you'd assumed, and others may at last be anxious to cooperate.
Lucky Numbers: 36-15-5-41-14-11

Gemini.... May 21 - June 20
Ruling Planet:  Mercury. MASCULINE, AIR
Key Words: Communicative, Adaptable, Versatile.
Positive Traits:  Adaptable, Versatile, Logical, Spontaneous, Talkative, Flair for languages, Always youthful in outlook and appearance.
Negative Traits:  Changeable, Restless, Cunning, Superficial, A gossip

Once Saturn and Mercury mercifully move direct late this week, a tremendous amount of uncertainty is likely to lift from your weary shoulders. Questions concerning liability, control, responsibility, and obligation will finally begin to be sorted out -- and probably in a way you find fair and acceptable. If things have seemed fractured and whacky, help is on the way. You've experienced a double whammy recently, thanks to peculiar double team act from Mercury and Saturn. The weekend gives you a fabulous second wind and increasing confidence and independence. Shed the past, baby!
Lucky Numbers: 22-39-38-10-18-16

Cancer.... June 21 - July 22
Ruling Planet:  Moon. FEMININE, WATER
Key Words: Protective, Sensitive.
Positive Traits: Kind, Sensitive, Sympathetic, Powerful imagination, A good parent, Protective, Cautious, Thrifty, A good home maker.
Negative Traits:  Over-emotional, Hyper-sensitive, Touchy, Moody, Sharp tempered, Self pity, Untidy, Unforgiving.

A concern that plagued or disturbed a family member (most likely a parent) can finally be put to rest, probably late this week. Everyone can exhale and relax. At the same time, a troubling relationship can also be folded up and put away, once and for all. Once Saturn and Mercury move forward, things will start to feel stable, sensible, and more responsive to your efforts. You may also receive more cooperation and loyalty from others. FYI: A financial matter may not be quite as complicated as you'd originally thought. . .
Lucky Numbers: 20-40-36-14-3-23

Leo.... July 23 - August 22
Ruling Planet: Sun. MASCULINE, FIRE
Key Words: Creative, Impressive, Powerful.
Positive Traits: Magnanimous, Generous, Creative, Enthusiastic, A good organizer, Broad minded, A sense of drama.
Negative Traits: Dogmatic, Bully, Pompous, Snobbish, Intolerant, Patronizing, Power mad, Conceited.

Your relationship with someone at work or in your neighborhood may have seemed puzzling during the past weeks. Mercury's forward push late this week could finally bring honest dialogue that answers questions and constructively settles old scores. Saturn may help you close the final chapter in a relationship that has drifted on and on, seemingly without end. Your life could begin to take on more definition and momentum over the weekend, lifting your spirits and helping you feel more in control.
Lucky Numbers: 20-8-5-16-34-39

Virgo.... August 23 - September 22
Ruling Planet: Mercury. FEMININE, EARTH
Key Words: Critical, Analytical.
Positive Traits: Discriminating, Analytical, Careful/Exact, Modest, Tidy.
Negative Traits: Fussy, A warrior, Hypercritical, Conventional

The unknown is likely to finally be revealed late this week. Whatever has troubled you or seemed almost crazy may be explained. Whether you fully comprehend recent bizarre surprises or not, use the weekend's vibes to put troubling episodes behind you -- and then make a fresh start. Recharge your emotional and mental batteries and focus on something worthwhile. Stop wasting another minute trying to explain the unexplainable. If you feel yourself obsessing and worrying, make a conscious effort to shift your thinking to something productive.
Lucky Numbers: 24-34-14-28-11-25

 Libra.... September 23 - October 22
Ruling Planet: Venus. MASCULINE, AIR
Key Words: Harmonious, Together.
Positive Traits: Charming, Easy going, Romantic, Diplomatic, Idealistic, Refined.
Negative Traits: Indecisive, Resentful, Changeable, Gullible, Frivolous.

A friendship or other relationship may turn into something more meaningful, especially over the weekend. Your living arrangements may also change. Some of you may decide to initiate a little housekeeping or home improvement, while others can't wait to leave town and experience a total change of pace. The rules or standards in key relationships are likely to change substantially over the weekend. This is a positive improvement and should prove beneficial to all involved.
Lucky Numbers: 9-15-13-10-16-31

Scorpio.... October 23 - November 21
Ruling Planet: Pluto, (Traditionally Mars) FEMININE, WATER
Key Words: Intense, Passionate.
Positive Traits: Strong feelings and emotions, A sense of purpose, Very imaginative, Discerning, Subtle, Persistent, Determined.
Negative Traits: Jealous, Resentful, Stubborn, Obstinate, Secretive, Suspicious.

Although your intuition has been nothing short of fabulous, retro Mercury may have played hell with your sense of timing. Well, start smiling because Mercury and Saturn both move forward late this week and your notorious, 'stealth' timing should return with a vengeance. Normally, you instinctively know the precise moment to deliver a perfect coup de grace, but retro Mercury may have made you a bit rusty. Honey, the weekend puts you back in the saddle again, giving you your customary advantage.
Lucky Numbers: 27-19-5-8-13-16

 Sagittarius.... November 22 - December 21
Ruling Planet: Jupiter. MASCULINE, FIRE
Key Words: Exploring, Free.
Positive Traits: Jovial, Optimistic, Versatile, Open minded, Dependable, Sincere, Good judgment.
Negative Traits: Exaggerates, tactless, careless, irresponsible, Extremist.

Financial concerns that have flustered and perplexed begin to mend and improve late this week. Punishing partnership problems can also begin a healing process, thanks to Saturn's forward movement. You cannot undo the damage that's been done, but you can take steps to prevent things from spinning out of control again. Saturn has taught you advanced lessons during the past months. The key is to recognize what you've been shown, and apply the wisdom. FYI: If you view difficult experiences as mere personal spats, you've missed out on a major growth opportunity.
Lucky Numbers: 25-5-37-3-19-12

 Capricorn.... December 22 - January 19
Ruling Planet: Saturn. FEMININE, EARTH
Key Words: Prudent, Calculated.
Positive Traits: Reliable, Determined, Ambitious, Careful, Prudent, Good sense of humor, Patient.
Negative Traits: Pessimistic, Miserly, Conventional, Rigid outlook.

Late this week, Mercury and Saturn finally move forward. These planets have certainly had their way with you in recent weeks and months, and you should begin to notice a definite difference. One of the first manifestations may be eye-opening financial developments. Another might be important events impacting your home, health, or job picture. If you've considered doing something ambitious with land, plants, or even potted plants, you're liable to get the nudge to move forward late this week. Suddenly, you'll stop feel overwhelmed with details and simply reach for the controls.
Lucky Numbers: 33-36-21-2-18-33

 Aquarius.... January 20 - February 18
Ruling Planet: Uranus (Traditionally Saturn) MASCULINE, AIR.
Key Words: Independent, Humane.
Positive Traits: Humanitarian, Independent, Friendly, Willing, Original, Inventive, Faithful, Loyal, Idealistic, Intellectual.
Negative Traits: Unpredictable, Eccentric, Rebellious, Tactless, Perverse, Tries too hard to be unconventional.

A loved one may make a momentous choice, once Saturn and Mercury move direct. This could happen as early as this weekend, but may take longer. The point is that your life, circumstances, and opportunities are finally able to break from from the ice. Welcome change as the liberating thing it truly is. Don't be afraid. For some time, you've known things were not right -- and something had to give. Be very cautious about who you confide in. At this point, the walls have ears. As you establish a new chapter in your life, play your cards very close to your vest.
Lucky Numbers: 7-22-34-2-18-33

Pisces.... February 19 - March 20

An opportunity may necessitate a trip. Late this week, you may contemplate various offers to take a chance on a dream. You must go after your dream, Pisces! Don't let anyone talk you out of it. You have a chance to reset your boundaries and establish new rules that reflect who you are -- not what others say you are. Hold on to your dream, especially now -- since decision makers finally recognize your potential. Make whatever sacrifices you must to hoist yourself closer to your most important goal.

The Attic Files
Jenn AKA .. SweetS AKA Jenn23

Well here I am again writing for our beloved Chathouse and Ezine about a place called the Attic... located in the public access rooms area of Chathouse...

If you so decide to go to this java, jave light , html chat area please be advised.. the locals or well regulars ..can be very friendly but it all depends on how you act when in the room.

If you come into the room and act like you are high and mightly .. the people of this palce will knock you back down to the level you should be at, But if you come into the room and act respectible and such .. they will hold you as a friend and welcome you to there "home".

So Now on with what is new withing our beloved attic. Well ...nothing much has been going on within these rooms .. it has been pretty much boring for the past little while as Many of the original regulars are leaving... yet some are also just now returning .. to pop in once and a while. there are many new people in the attic and many people some of us would just wish would go away and never return. But that is just hopeful dreaming .. or wishing as it were. Many within the rooms have turned themselves into landmarks with the names of certain rooms within the attic. For instance....

Aero's Bar... created.. for Myself ...but using the handle that belongs to my r/t bf

Aspen's Hideaway.. created as a birthday present for a woman who's handle was Aspen at one time .. she has since then changed her handle

Master Bedroom.. created for a woman named Nikki.. cause well ... I can't say here.. but once you meet her you will understand -s-

Those are just a couple of the rooms within the attic that you can choose form to visit.

The latest things happening within the attic are pretty much like any of the other chatrooms around this lovely place.. lots of talking .. the odd fight.. and generally people all getting along .. We've encountered many weird things within this place in the past few years ... We've encountered people whom lie( which is a regualr occurance online) ... for instance .. within the years of the attic there have been plently of things hidden from people and as people grow closer the truth slowly forms itself infront of them .. hurting many .. and leaving none unscarred.. Many of the scars are hidden now .. but resently a few old woounds have reopened for some.. leaving them hurt and pained.. as of yet the wounds that have been reopened are still bleeding so it is best that I do not mention what it was that made the wounds reopen... -smiles-

There was one meeting that took place back in June of 2001.

It was one known as boogiewoman whom drove all the way from .. Ontario, Canada down to Ohio. to meet the man whom has stolen her heart. In November of 2000 a person walked into the one of the rooms of the Attic called adults only.. with his strange little handle "boogieman".. after his first 6 months to a year of roaming the Attic. He finally met one called "meggles" her open attitude and happy-go lucky persona.. and his quarky attitude with his total weird happiness.. quickly they became really good friends .. a few months went by both of them being able to completly feel that something they had would last them a lifetime.. if not more. The started dating, as time pasted they got even closer .. knowing that finally they each had found the one in their lifetime that would complete them whole heartedly.. within a few months of dating one dat meggles as we all knew her popped into the attic with the handle "boogiewoman" she was as happy as a a lark .. smiling and even more hy! per then ever before .. she has to this date never changed that handle.. as for "boogieman" he has had to change his ever so slightly as one has stolen his handle .. but that still has not stopped their love for eachother. From what any of us in the attic can tell Nothing in this world will stop these to soulmates from ever being together in real life and forever. One day the boogieman hopes to move to Canada to be with his one true love. so he can hold her close to him feeling her warmth.. for the rest of their lifetimes...

Mayhap one day.. they will both give me a little more insight into how this came to pass.. but people don't get your hopes up!

Well that is all i have to write about thus far upon the Attic's days thus far .. please stay tuned as there is bound to be more in the next issue -s-
