Q & A
MichiganStorm™ & ChatDominatrix

The Game: The game Honesty is based on Truth or Dare, but without the dare. When actually playing the game one player asks a question and all have to answer honestly, including the player who asked the pending question. For the new Ezine version of the game I will ask a new question each week and all ChatHouse® chatters are welcome [and invited] to send in a response. The following week not only will a new question be asked, but the answers to [any] previous questions that we receive will also be posted, including my own.

Please send all answers to ch_zine@hotmail.com and be sure to include the handle under which your input should be posted [if a handle is not submitted, there will be no handle posted with the response]. If you have any questions you'd like asked in our Q & A section, please send them to the same address! Thank you.

New Question:
Submitted by: ~Out of Africa~
Some people use chat to supplement a full life.. like relaxing after a hard day.. some use it to live out a fantasy... others use it to find a masturbating partner (Sorry but that is so) and some come to find "That perfect One".
What do you use the chat scene for?

Please send all answers to ch_zine@hotmail.com and be sure to include the handle under which your input should be posted and room/floor you chat in.

The Chathouse

~Chat Dominatrix~

it is my boyfriends wish to send me to a dominatrix that would teach me discipline. what would really please him is to see me strapped into a gyno chair, sitting under a bonnet hair dryer and getting a perm while my *edited* gets shaved... how can we find a dominatrix in germany ?

Well it's finally happened!
The day has come when I received an email that I just don't know how to answer!   ~L~

If they are truly serious in their question, I can think of only a few suggestions for this chatter, which are....

1. I ask you the chatters for advice on this one, and any emails or advice I receive that wishing to be forwarded to this person, will be.

2. This person visits a few of room forums where there are chatters more informative on this topic then myself.
A few of those rooms that may be able to give better advise then myself are......

The Chamber The House Of Lords The Ladies Room

how are you doing

I'm doing it great!  Or so he tells me!  ~W~

Chathouse News

The Chatters Webring
I've started a new Chathouse Webring for the chatters of the Chathouse and their websites.
A page will soon be added in the Chathouse and everyone that has joined the Webring will have their websites listed there.
I was hoping to have had this page ready by now, but it just didn't happen. Throughout this week I'll be adding all the room web pages and then posting the new page. Then hopefully I'll be able to get all the chatters with websites to join in having their sites listed also!
If you have a website and would like to be in the Chathouse Webring, please send me an email!

House Errors
Chatters are still having back scrolling problems.
This should hopefully be fixed soon. If you are having any other problems, besides the back scrolling or links not opening in new pages, please leave a note in the complaints forum!

My Two Cents
on Lipo-Lawsuits

What are Lipo-Lawsuits? Well it seems the hot new crusade within the legal system is the attack on fatty foods. On the heels of tobacco and gun lawsuits we now have those who are asking, "I'm fat, who can I sue?". This is another step in a disturbing pattern that has been growing in our society. The use of the legal system to avoid personal responsibility. You think I'm joking?

Check this out - ABCNews - Jan. 22nd 2002

"[O]besity is not just an American image crisis — it's fast becoming our most serious public health problem. Indeed, obesity now rivals smoking in its deadliness and is linked to diseases such as type-2 diabetes, heart disease, and certain types of cancer."

Smoking is a "public health problem", guns are a "public health problem", and now pizza and cheeseburgers are a "public health problems". Just for the record here... cigarettes, guns and cheeseburgers are all legal products that can be bought, sold and used in America. With that being said, then it is a matter of personal choice as to whether a person purchases any of these items and a matter of personal responsibility in how they use the products. There is not a smoker in America who does not know the health risks associated with smoking, there is not a single American old enough to buy a gun that does not know their deadly nature. Now, in this image conscious, everyday-a-new-diet, calorie-counting, lite beer and diet soda society it is absurd to think that anyone in America is eating cheeseburgers and Twinkies without knowing the consequences as well. So, if the people smoking cigarettes, buying guns and wolfing down the pizza and beer know the consequences, then there is absolutely no basis for any lawsuit. It is a matter of choice and responsibility.

These lawsuits, no matter how absurd they are, have managed to put MILLIONS of dollars into the pockets of the government. Supposedly to offset healthcare costs involved with smoking, guns and now fatty foods. In reality, these lawsuits are nothing more than NEW TAXES that are being levied against corporate America and passed on to all of us. These "new taxes" do not have to be voted on or approved by any of our representatives in government, who are supposed to be serving our interests (ya right).

It is an extension of the hyper-litigious nature of our society as a whole. When my kids (pre-teens) talk of suing people left and right over every little thing they don't like or doesn't go their way, then you know it is a deep-rooted part of the American psyche.

In essence, this latest scourge on society, the Lipo-Lawsuits, is but an indicator of much greater problems plaguing our society at large. The abandonment of personal responsibility in exchange for the lawsuit lottery. "It's not my fault, the big corporations and mind-numbing advertising made me do it! Now PAY ME!" It seems OK to blame corporations and advertising for making us do things like eat too much, but to blame the same advertising, movies, etc. for the violence in our society is poppycock! Seems a bit of a double standard to me, how about you?

Furthermore, this abandonment of personal responsibility in favor of blaming and suing others has become a big business in the financing of our government. Government sponsored lawsuits, in the name of public health, have enabled the liberal-left to kill two birds with one stone. They attack the "evil corporations" in the pocketbook and fill the government coffers at the same time without raising taxes. Not to mention the fact that these lawsuits enable them to exercise a measure of control over how and what we do as "free Americans". Just one more small step towards socialism which enables the few to dictate the actions of the majority. One more step towards socialized medicine, which would only increase their control over our everyday lives, dictating what we can do, eat or own in the name of "public health".

In closing, I think most people will get a good laugh at the thought of lawsuits against fatty food makers and vendors, but it is far from a laughing matter. It is only a matter of time before the lawsuits start against fast food companies or taxes are added to fatty food products. There are those among us who will strive to drive fatty food prices through the roof with added taxes, who will sue for equal time in vending machines putting celery sticks next to the Snickers. A trip to McDonald's will cost as much as a night out at a five star restaurant.

What's next?

That's My Two Cents, Deal With It!
