-•The ChatHouse®•-
Most of you who read this know what the ChatHouse® is, as you are chatters there, but for those of you who have wandered onto this page via a search engine you may not have a clue. The ChatHouse® is a chat site with more than just one or two small chat rooms, but with floors and levels and many rooms in each, just as in any house. Some of the floors offer java chat if you are interested in real time chatting while other floors offer an HTML type of chatting that is even
accessible
to WebTV users. You simply type in a message and click hello and then an entirely
new page of chatter's posts comes on your screen. The ChatHouse® offers it's registered users up to four handles (usernames or nicknames) per registration, and all it takes is your email address to register. Each handle is given it's own profile which you can edit at any time so that other chatters can look up your "info", as well as forums for use by the registered chatters. There is a forum for each room so that friends can leave messages for each other and there are also general interest forums (like our Ezine forum). There are many reasons to register with "the house" and even if you feel you would rather not register you can still chat in the many public rooms. The ChatHouse® also offers teen chat rooms as well as an adult floor! There's something for just about everyone in The House.
-•The Ezine•-
The Ezine was started in hopes of bringing more people from the different floors of the Chathouse together. We were hoping to get
chatters from the different floors involved so that there would be at least one place where we all had common ground and could all get along.
Nearly every issue features chatters and sometimes we feature homepages as well. By bringing up diverse topics in the zine
we hope to get more chatters involved yet by having them write in or submit articles. Anyone, chatter or not, is welcome to write in an email
and ask questions or just give us something for posting (from poetry to recipes to random thoughts on issues of today's society). All it takes
is an email.
