Everything you ever wanted to know about this particular Chathouse®
Feature...
Chatter Search
- What does Chatter Search do?
Chatter Search allows Members to find someone else in the
Chathouse®. Chatter Search will allow them to enter the Handle
of the person they are searching for; if that Chatter is in the House,
Chatter Search will tell then
where to find their friend.
- How does Chatter Search work?
Simply choose the Chatter Search option from the grid (see below).
Type in your Handle and password where indicated, and the Handle of
the chatter you are looking for. Chatter
Search is not case sensitive; you need not type the Handle
exactly as it appears, but you must spell it correctly. When the search
is complete, it will show you where to find your friend.
- Why would I want to use Chatter Search?
Let's say you've got friends in several rooms, but you're really looking
for someone in particular. Chatter Search
lets you know if that person is chatting in the House, and if they
are chatting, where you may find them. If they're in, you can go meet
them. (If they're in, but the rool they're in is full, use Telegraph!)
If they aren't in the House, you can leave a message for them in the
Message Center, or, you can go make new friends in another room.
- Where do I find Chatter Search?
You can get to Chatter Search
by clicking on this blue wave icon anytime you see it anywhere in
the Chathouse®
