Non-Registered, Registered, and Subscribed Chathouse Members.
Non Registered Users
The Channel1® Chathouse® is a FREE SERVICE that may be enjoyed by anyone anywhere on the Internet with a standard Web Browser. The only requirement is that you acknowledge The Chathouse® Rules!
Anyone who violates the Chathouse® Rules may be "banned" from using the Free Services offered. We will disable your access to the Chathouse® if you harrass, solicit, or impersonate other chatters, use offensive Handles or obscene language, engage in malicious hacking, or otherwise detract from the overall quality of our community. In some cases, termination of your access may mean others from your Domain Name Service may be denied access, as well. Please see The Chathouse® Rules for complete details.
A Non-Registered User of the Chathouse®
will use a Temporary Handle (and password) that they select when entering
a chat room, and which expires when they leave the floor of the Chathouse®
that room is on. Non-Registered Handles are limited to 15 characters and
may not include any HTML nor may they be an image.
A Non-Registered User of the Chathouse® will be able to chat in any
of our Public Access
Rooms.
Any chatter with a valid e-mail address may choose to Register as a Member of our Chathouse®. REGISTRATION IS FREE! Registered Members enjoy many Membership Benefits. Subscribed Members
The Channel 1® Chathouse® also offers Subscriptions. Subscribed Members may use our Exclusive Features, such as private, customizable chatrooms for six, permanant handles which don't expire, the Message Center, and Telegraph. Subscribed Members may also appear in our Family Tree and be featured as Chatter of the Minute. A variety of Subscriptions are available: Charter, Cornerstone, Foundation, and Sponsor.
